What was the highlight of Quality Hotel Manaus
Comfortable hotel with lovely reception staff and good-sized rooms, but poor bar services.
A good location just outside of the city (15 minutes) and a 20 minute drive from the main dock for trips to the Amazon. It is near to a large shopping centre and within walking distance of a few restaurants and a supermarket. The hotel itself is pretty and the rooms are neat and clean enough. They have sufficient facilities, a comfortable bed and were generally quiet. The gym was well-equipped, cool and clean and perfect for a "spruce-up" workout. The best feature was the reception staff who were positive, friendly and very approachable. There was also a small table with free flavoured water and coffee (no milk). Overall, it is a great hotel and I would recommend staying here for the cool, comfortable rooms and good location with friendly and kind reception staff. But if you want somewhere with facilities to relax at the hotel with a drink, we went to the hotel down the road.
However, there are insufficient water top-up points (important for holiday go-ers) and our room had ants in the bathroom (on the 17th floor) despite all windows being kept shut. I would note that there is no "pool bar" - there is an area where a pool bar could be but it is not staffed and was empty of drinks. On two occasions we waited 10-15 minutes for someone to man the internal bar for a drink but no-one turned up. It also took 3 members of staff for coffee and milk to be topped up one morning at breakfast. Overall, it is a great hotel and I would recommend staying here for the cool, comfortable rooms and good location with friendly and kind reception staff. But if you want somewhere with facilities to relax at the hotel with a drink, we went to the hotel down the road.

a good hotel in a very good area, next to a great shopping mall.
staff very courteous
the room was cleaned while i was working inside. What i saw was a bit disgusting The bathroom cleaning sequence shocked me: the toilet was cleaned internally with a small dishwashing sponge and no gloves! Next, the same sponge was used to clean the sink and counter top where my toothbrush was laying. At the end, the used towel was utilized for wiping down the toilet, the sink and counter.

Great value
Great value. Rooms and hotel older but rooms clean and bed comfortable. Can walk down the street for restaurants. My only disappointment was that the pool was overcrowded and I didn’t feel like going in because of that. It was terribly hot and humid, so wanted to but not squished between people. It was a holiday weekend.
